How the calculations work

System Size Formula
System Size (kWp) = Daily kWh ÷ (Peak Sun Hours × Performance Ratio). We use PAGASA's 4.6 hrs/day and 80% PR as Philippine defaults. Battery systems add 10% to cover round-trip losses.

Savings Formula
Monthly Savings (PHP) = System Size (kWp) × Peak Sun Hours × Performance Ratio × 30 days × PHP/kWh. Assumes full self-consumption under net metering (RA 9513).
